- טָמַע(cmp. טָמַן) to hide, sink (cmp. טָבַע I). Nif. נִטְמַע to be hidden, sunk, to be mixed up beyond recognition. Kidd.70b וכולן נִטְמְעוּ בכהונה and all of them have been lost among the priesthood (can no longer be distinguished from original priests).
